~ Testimony of Bindhu Vedanayagam ~   I would like to share my testimony which happened last month, May of this year 2009. My husband, two daughters and myself went to Naivasha for a holiday. We had a great time, but on the day when we were to leave my youngest daughter had an upset stomach. When she first woke up she started vomiting. Every ten minutes this happened, then she also started experiencing diarrhea as well. I did not have any medicine with me but I had faith in God and began to pray in Jesus Name. I began rebuking satan and commanding him to leave her, but satan told me that we had come to Naivasha very happy but now when you are going home, you are going back sadly. Then the Holy Spirit gave me courage to reply that when I came, I came with happiness and when I am going back, I am going with happiness doubled. Then I rebuked satan and told him to leave my daughter in the name of Jesus Christ. Then we went to have breakfast. I told my daughter to rest and that she was not going to have any more vomiting or diarrhea. When we returned she told me that she didn’t have any more vomiting or diarrhea. I started praising God for His mercy. Then satan came back once more giving my daughter the same signs as before but again I rebuked him and told him I don’t want to see him again. Praise God, immediately she became completely alright. Then we went to Daisy’s, one of our friends' home, for lunch. She said my daughter, how weak and pale she was and asked whether or not she might need to be taken to the doctor. I replied to her “she’s fine, no need for a doctor.” Praise God, when we came back home she was whole and healthy. After that, satan tried to play another trick on me on the evening of the above incident. I went to sleep as usual, but around midnight I started to have pain in my stomach and it was really bad. I was praying but still experiencing pain in my side and the pain was very intense. Then I remembered the verse, “I have healed you”. I claimed that verse for me and I felt the anointing of the Holy Spirit, but the battle was going on. Then, suddenly, I saw a hand like thing come and it pressed my stomach and when the hand lifted up my stomach ache had completely disappeared (It was around 4 or 5 in the morning). I praise God for His wonderful mercy and grace. Praise the Lord! Bindhu Vedanayagam   Welcome to the website of Missions to the World! We are Gary and Janet Priem, Christian missionaries based out of Nakuru, Kenya which is located in East Africa. We have been missionaries in Kenya since 1994, when we made our first trip to Africa. We started working with the Apostolic Faith Church here in Kenya and have been working with many others as well . We have been teaching the Word of God to pastors, church leaders and elders, youth, ladies, and also street children who have been deserted by their parents or society. The Lord did not exclude any in the ministry of the Word of God and we feel that we also must not exclude any. There are different types of ministries here in Kenya, but we are fully persuaded that we are to be among those sent by Him to reach many different peoples, of different beliefs and religions. We travel to many cities in and around Kenya, Africa conducting seminars, crusades, and also preaching in the local churches as the Spirit of God leads. We have also been lecturers in Njoro Bible College near a town called Njoro, where we helped spearhead the opening of this college in 1995. One of our main focuses is training and depositing the Word of God into Kenya’s leaders, so that they will become more effective in the Work of the Ministry. We understand that our time in Africa may be short in comparison to those living here, but if we can deposit the Word of God effectively in their hearts, we feel that we will have accomplished the will of God. We have also traveled to Uganda, and most recently, India. We will be traveling to other surrounding countries as the Lord leads us. Our main focus at this time however is Kenya, and we know and have come to realize that there is much to do for the Lord. Index
